Dame Demi's game: TRUMP ME!

I miss annoying my favorite teachers. Ever notice how professors who don't allow you to disagree with them without repercussions usually suck as teachers? I was lucky; I had quite a few profs who liked me specifically because I was annoying--probably because it requires careful thought and an actual interest to do it really well.

My favorite English teacher in high school (he only taught the more advanced courses, and I probably learned more from him in 3 years of high school than I did in college)assigned us an essay over Christmas break one year, and it pissed me off royally. I believe the assignment was a paper on "Hamlet," discussing the relationship between the characters' depth of involvement with the royal court and their downfall, or lack thereof. So that's what I did. For every character in the play. In great detail regarding their relationship to the court, their fate in the play, and how they tied together. I did this for just over 27 pages.

When I received the graded paper, there was only one comment on it, right at the top:

"100%
You really know how to get back at me."

That is true as well. The only problem is bookstores generally have only a few employees, whereas Walmart can hire a ton. I know some really intelligent people who have worked at Walmart, stocking overnight mostly.

I have actually considered that as a job that might be tolerable, purely due to lack of human interaction.

I had a thing for Colin Firth in the BBC Pride and Prejudice miniseries that I watched in Lit class, so I feel dirty too. It's okay!

I used to throw food over my shoulder at the "mean girls" in the cafeteria. Then I would laugh when they would get up and yell at somebody else for it.
