I didn't vote on everything up there, but I generally say no to dating age difference, yes to dating racial difference, no to differences on social issues/reproductive rights, and no to same gender but only because I identify as straight. I would be willing to date another woman, I just don't think the issue will ever come up.

The only one i didn't answer was the political view points in relation to social issues b/c it just really depends on what their viewpoint is and what the social issue is. and how it affects their interactions with myself and others -shrug-

I would date a lot of different kinds of people, as long as they treated me right, there was physical attraction between us, and as long as there was a good thing going between us...

It really doesn't matter to me who I date as long as they're good to me and love me. I don't discriminate although some of my family would probably disown me for dating certain people. I wouldn't date someone 10 years younger than me because I'm in my mid twenties and that would just be too weird! Now, if I was 40 or so then I would. lol

I said no to the dating age difference. I'm 18 though, so that's to be expected.

I would be willing to date any race or gender. The other things I can't really say because it depends on particulars.

i do not care about political views but i am more for some one closer to my age, the same race, and the opposite gender.

I've dated someone significantly older but I don't know if I'd ever want to date someone much younger.
As for politics, I can handle different economic opinions but I don't think I could seriously be with someone who has difference social views. I've tried that and it's not fun.

If I were single again, I'd be pretty open to who I dated.

I can handle any different racial/cultural/etc background, but I don't think I could date someone with vastly different political views than me.

I can't date someone 10+ years older than me...It's too much of a generation gap (and our lives are in different places). But for the most part I'm pretty open

Kind of tough to say for sure as I've been with the same man since I was 15 -- almost 7 years now! So I really couldn't say what I'd do and certainly won't ever be in the position to have to answer those questions as I definitely won't be in the situation of dating ever again. BUT what I think I'd do if my circumstances were different?

I don't know! Lol. I definitely could not ever date someone 10+ years younger. Uh... wouldn't that make me a pedophile anyway? LOL. 10 years younger than me would be 12! LOL. But I haven't ever really found someone of my same age or under that I would've been able to be... on the same level of commonalities to date. My partner is 3 years older than me, which works, but if I hadn't ever gotten with him and was a single, looking to date girl, I'd be looking to date older, not younger.

I could probably handle it if my lovie had different political views than me. Not if he was totally opposite of my views though because that'd mean real trouble (having the opposite views on topics such as women's rights, etc. would be a real issue). We do have many different opinions, which is great with me, but the important things, things that really matter to me & him in life really should line up similarly.

Older is good but younger is a problem since I'm 27 and by the standards on the poll the person would be 17. Eep! No .. 25 is generally my cut-off there.

I tend to prefer someone older, but definitely nobody older than 25. Also nobody younger than 18 plzkthx.

I also tend to prefer someone my own race, but sometimes I find people of other races attractive. It depends on the person for this one.

I've dated much younger and only a few times much older. I would not go older or much younger again.

Those are some good questions! I dont like people my own age or younger so I would only date older... my hubby is older than me by quite a bit but that is what works for me

I find that economic/financial issues tie into social issues far more often than one might think. I can't really date someone who has vastly different viewpoints in those areas.

seeing as I'm 20, dating someone who's 10 years younger than me would be a pretty bad idea. Older is fine. I'm gay, so dating someone of the same gender isn't a question. I'd absolutely date someone of a different race. Different political viewpoints are kinda a no-go, especially social. That's a big thing for me.

I would not date someone 10+ years younger than myself, or with a different political viewpoint.

As for race, I said I would date someone of a different race, but not any race.

i would cross lines until we got to politics or if they are younger than me, because they would be 14 and that is fucked up.

the age thing isnt really for me but gender and race dont matter. It would depend on what the issues are to see if they matter.
