I was on a school trip on my 16th birthday and there was a party that night for the students, so I did get a big party, just not centered around me.

No, I was a loser in HS but those weren't really popular in my town anyway.

Something like it ... I didn't have many friends, so one invited her slew of friends, so I didn't know most of the people there, and they brought their music (early 90's hip-hop >_< ) and ... it wasn't much for me. I didn't get any sleep that night, either, as every one of the girls had to stay up and chatter all night ... I was relieved when it was over, and was glad everyone ignored my 17th.

My milestone birthdays are usually disappointments (my 21st was in Key West and it was Hemingway Days and I got a UTI), so I try not to focus on any milestone b-days anymore.
