Yeah, gotta go with a boat and some means to desalinate water. Throw in some fishing gear, and I think I could get off that island regardless of where it was.

Assuming I am to remain on said island, the answer would honestly depend on the specifics of the island (Is there a potable water source, Where is the island?, Am I alone? Does the island have trees?, etc.)

If I couldn't get off the island, I would make sure my wife was stuck there too. It would be kind of Gilligan's Island story. I wonder if my wife would make be the Skipper or Gilligan....
