I just want to go on record and say, having things borrowed without asking is stealing. Having something stolen would bother anyone... because it's wrong on a basic level. No one has any right to anything that's not theirs.

I really, really hate when people do some kind of sigh like they're exasperated when I'm trying to tell them something. It instantly sets me off and puts me in a bad mood.

My biggest peeve is probably noises associated with eating, whether it's chewing, lips smacking, swallowing... that weird dull thudding that happens sometimes when people chew food that really isn't supposed to be chewed... It bothers me in more ways that I can imagine and I get really, really irritated and I'm not entirely sure why.

Oh my! Ya'll made me laugh! I hate the sounds people make while eating like "nom nom nom!" Ugh! It makes me grit my teeth to hear those sounds or the "slurp slurp slurp" people do when describing something that tastes good! I HATE it! Lol. My Lovie thinks I am crazy to be bugged by these things.

Oh goodness, scraping of the fork on teeth makes me cringe reading about it. Don't think I've ever actually witnessed it though. Yikes!

Catsin: I'm with you! I HATE really loud talking when it isn't neccessary. Lol. Bless your heart. I hope you're able to get some peace from that situation.

Zombriella: Oh yes! I hate that too! I especially hate the checking over my shoulder while I'm online. oOoH! That irritates the pants off me! Our 12 year old does that and I give snarl! I could even growl at him for it. Lol. I'm like 'are you FREAKIN' serious?' Especially when they don't even care to practically pop a squat in your darn lap just to see what you're doing! I couldn't tell you how many times he's done that while I'm on EF. Now I always keep a blank tab up there so I can quickly switch it so he doesn't see "SEX TOYS!" LOL.

Underhim: No doubt, that's a surefire way to send me in a blind fury! I do not tolerate that. Heck, smack while you eat, use all my hair shampoo and be negative towards me, BUT DON'T ever be nasty to my pets. They're helpless. I cannot stand that. If you have nothing nice to say to people's pets, you should ignore them.

Kittycatgirl: OMG! You are so awesome! I am checking that out! Thanks for sharing the link. I bet cha' I've got that. My partner's dad is the same way. It seems my partner is THE ONLY person in both sides of our fam that doesn't have issues with sounds. He says "You and my dad are the SAME! Why do I get on ya'll's nerves so bad?" Ha Ha! I try to explain to him that we really cannot help it, it's not that we're annoyed at these sounds, it's almost like it hurts to hear them. Lol. I say "Honey, we don't WANT to be this way." LOL.

Beck: lol you crack me up. It's good that you're understanding though and don't go off and crack him in the neck for it. Lol. I know it's hard! And I too hate when people make it clear that they hate pets. We're cat crazy too so it's really upsetting when someone chooses to visit my house and expects me to allow them to mistreat our babies. I get upset. I once had a friend who wanted to freakin' live with me and she would bitch (excuse my rude language) about my cats constantly! I was like would you please just leave! She'd say "your stupid cat slept on me!" and the most common one " I want to kill your dog" or "I hate your dog, and hope he dies." That will piss me off. Lol. Needless to say, I finally got the nerve up to tell her she couldn't come stay with me anymore. She even posted "That stupid dog still ain't dead yet? I hate him!" on a FB photo I posted of my Pookie! I was mad. Lol.

lol. I see what you mean. I'm much more easily irritated by these things when I am on mine too! Today happens to be that day and it's taken quite some will power not to smack a couple of people today. Only kidding, but things do get to me easier when I'm around that time. It's a curse! Lol

Uh-oh! I'm guilty of doing that. Lol. My partner could so relate to you on this. He's ALWAYS looking for his crap. He leaves it out and I stash it in a box and forget about it or throw it away--or put it where it belongs and he's like "I'm missing my--I bet you threw it away CLEANING." Happened just yesterday. He supposedly wrote down an important phone number on a "little bitty green piece of paper, just a little one." Couldn't get any more info about what this paper looks like besides it's little bitty and I probably threw it away cleaning. Thought I'd never hear the end of it. Finally, I said OK, I probably threw it away. Lol. I know he hates it. It has to be annoying, but I get on my cleaning rampage and go crazy.

Ha Ha! Oh my! You mean there are other people who actually say "warsh?" Holy heck. I thought my sister was the only person in the world who said that! It drives me so crazy. I find myself subconsciously correcting her as she's talking. I'm sure she finds that just as annoying as I find the word though. That reminds me, when people pronounce batteries like "battries" or "batchries" as some people here in the south call it! It makes me stir a little. Lol. It's so strange to me. Yep, whining is one sure way to have me frustrated in no time. That's another one I dealt with today too. Ignoring it is helpful, but today I actually had to go in the other room and do a little cussing. Lol.

Melan!e: Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's weird about these things. When I see others being rude/disrespectful to someone (even if I don't know them either) I feel bad and lose respect for the person doing it. I understand getting a little upset when you ordered a burger and they gave you fish, and you didn't realize it til' you left the drive-thru. That is understandable, but there's hardly ever a reason to be downright hateful to people and it's ugly. Lol.

DHG: Yep, eye rolling is one thing that sometimes bugs me. I don't like it when someone rolls their eyes at me while I'm telling them something, a serious thing. It is rude and makes me feel that they can't stand to listen to someone respectfully. It's different if someone does it as a joke or when I say something crazy, but doing it to kind of put me down makes me not wanna be around the person.

Badass: Bahahaha! I loved your cursing fit. That made me laugh . I do understand though. I'm the same way! Just gently move the pet aside and continue on, but don't be rude to the pet. Never a nice thing.

Mwar: Aw! Bless your heart. Lol. Don't feel bad. Heck, I don't blame you for getting angry and fighting for your dog. That's real love there! I am SOO not a fighter. I'm no good at it. Been in only a few fights in my life, but I believe I would be in fight-mode if someone hurt my pet! Being rude to my pet is one thing, but hitting them?! That is insane. Why did they hit your poor doggy? I would be upset.

Oh my goodness Crystal! You poor thing. No wonder it gets to you so badly. I couldn't imagine that. I would probably have some sort of habits after going through that too. Twice?! Bless your heart!

Aw! That's no good. Sounds like mine! When we buy my neice clothing and things my sister will get angry with us and burn them if she hasn't already taken them back to the store. Honestly, hurts my feelings because the things are bought for the baby. When I buy HER or someone else something, if they do not like it I want them to take it back and get what they do like, but it's not nice to throw away or sell things that were gifted to a child. I'm sorry that that happens to you. I sure wish I knew something that would prevent people from doing that. Can't really do much until the kid is old enough to say "hey, I'm keeping this!"

KyotoAngel: Interrupting someone's convo is very rude and it tends to bug me too! Mostly though, it's not the interrupting ME that I mind so much, it's when they interrupt and then don't bother to say "so, what was you saying now?" when they are through interrupting. It makes me mad. I hate when I'm listening to someone else talk and another person interrupts them! It's so rude. Interrupting should be left for emergencies only. That's what my mom used to say to us when we were kids. If it happens that I am interrupted a couple of times, I don't mind, but I do hate when I'm interrupted multiple times without the person coming back to what I was saying. Another rude thing is when kids (adults may do it too, ADHD?) make LOUD noises or singing loudly when adults are having a convo. Goodness! I'm full of pet-peeves. Crap! Lol. Usually I don't make it too obvious when things bug me, unless they're really bad.

Zombirella: Another pet-peeve I didn't even know I had til' you mentioned it! Ha Ha. That is pretty rude! Sometimes people (I did this as a kid) are really shy so they just smile/blush instead. That's understandable, especially if it's a child, but an adult can freakin' say thank you. When someone compliments me I always say thanks, unless it's a man and his wife is right there. Ugh. Happened to me recently. A couple my partner introduced me to for the first time and the man said "I can see why you haven't brought her to meet us yet." The wife looked at him and said "Why? Because she's so pretty? Well, she is." But it made me feel like her feelings were hurt so I looked at her and said thank you, but sort of blew off his continuous compliments. Times like that are the only times when I won't go out of my way to thank them. I won't be rude about it, but I try to be respectful ya know?

Aliceinthehole: Well put! Lol. That's exactly what I'd like to do.

OMG Lil' Missy! Are we twins? I HATE MOIST TOO! Holy heck! That is so strange. My partner tried to trick me into saying it! Ugh. He only acheived once. He always asks me "how do you pronounce this," so when he pointed to the word "moisture" and asked how to pronounce it, I said it. Lol. Ever since he's never gotten me to fall for it again. I despise that word. I can't believe we have so many similarities! I liked your list. That sums it up for me! I really don't like when people come in and get in the fridge, take and take without asking. I'm always too embarrassed to say anything about that one, but it bothers me. It doesn't if it's family, which most of them do not do that anyway, but other people, it's just rude.

Ly-Ra: I agree. I don't like when people act annoyed while I'm talking. Also, kids destroying the house is not OK ever! I get mad when it happens and prefer friends not to bring kids over. Our family and our own kids are fine--we'll jerk a knot in their behind if they don't clean up after themselves, only kidding--but to bring your kid and let them destroy a house is bad, to not bother picking it up is terrible.

Sorry for so much chatting ya'll! WHEW! I didn't realize how long I'd been at it. This just got so interesting... and, well, I ate a box of Crackheads 2 right when I logged on. LOL Sorrry!

I try to become more tolerant and accepting every day. I don't get bent out of shape over slothful things (like not picking up), but I don't tolerate any sort of meanness, bigotry or intolerance. If someone were mean to a pet at my house (for example), I would take them aside and let them know how I felt. If they even joked about doing it again, I'd ask them to leave and wouldn't invite them again.

Most of my pet peeves happen while driving:
When people use their high-beams on a crowded suburban road.
When people don't signal their lane changes.
When people don't signal any of their turns.
When people turn left (US) from a turn lane while the traffic light is only green for the straight lane.

Also:
When people say "the hubby" instead of "my husband", especially on online reviews such as "The hubby loved this!". Why couldn't "the hubby" review it himself?

When people say "Can I ask you a question?".

When people post cliche pop/negative rock song lyrics on their facebook status. I do it too, but I always post lyrics that say something more profound than "I want to have sex with you", "I hate you", "My life sucks", or "I love you".

"Nucular", "irregardless", "a whole nother", "alot", "on accident", and "all of the sudden"

All those things bother me too and would be pretty steamed about them. My pet peeve is my SO going to the store to get something to eat but not getting anything for me. He's getting better though, at least most of the time he asks.

I have issues with certain noises. My worst ones? When someone chews with their mouth open, especially if its something mushy or crunchy (Yea, that doesn't really narrow it down), and when someone digs their hand around in a chip bag. Just the sound of chip bags sound like nails on a chalk board to me! Now throw them all together in one incident, and I'm ready to punch a hole in the wall!

And no one has the right to be mean to your pets. Pets are a part of the family, so you have no right to hit, push or yell at them, nor do they need to be locked up just because you don't like them. Don't like them? Don't visit.

I checked quite a few. There are plenty more, but there is one that wasn't on there that really irritates me. It's when someone wants me to share something and gets mad when I say no. I don't like to share cigarettes; I'll give you one. If I've tasted my food, I'll give you a bite, but don't ask me before it's placed in front of me. I'm not a selfish person, I just don't like sharing. My mom is a HUGE pain in my ass about that. She's one of those people who always wants to split a meal, take a bite off of everyone's plate, split a cigarette and take most of it, the list goes on. Then she gets mad when I say "No". She goes on and on about how selfish I am and how I never share. If I just buy something and I haven't really had a chance to look it over or use it (as simple as an expensive leave in conditioner), don't get mad when I say no. If I've used it once or twice, chances are that I'm going to offer it to you before you ask. I'm not a selfish person. I'm actually a rather giving person and very nice. I just have boundaries that most people know about (mainly because they've run into my wall a couple of times), and know if they wait, I'll be more than happy to share what I have.
