If you are managing to grow a jalapeno indoors to the fruiting stage, I'd say you are doing really well & have definitely acquired a green thumb along the way! Good job!

I can keep some indoor plants reasonably well off. Outside, I do better. I do enjoy gardening, so at least I have some skill at it
