Do you enjoy buffet style establishments?

I try to avoid them generally, because I tend to eat too much at buffets. We do have a really kick-ass Indian buffet close by where the food is GREAT and I don't usually tend to overeat. There was a good pizza buffet place where I used to live (think CiCi's, but with real pizza); I ate there WAY too often!

I think every buffet I've gone to has had really bad food. I don't think it would be the best atmosphere for a date for me.

I LOVE our local Asian food restaurant but that's because it has a fresh hibachi type grill and fresh hand prepared sushi as well as the usual foods at a buffet. It's expensive but worth it!

Now Other than that one I am not real fond of over cooked food that's been sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long....

I used to, but I have had to adopt a very low fat diet because of a health issue. So I can go but mostly just look at the food... LOL!

I like them...they just have to be neat and keep the food hot and fresh.

I love buffets but... the last thing I would want to do on a first date is make a glutton of myself...LOL Maybe the 3rd date

It depends, the only good ones I have experienced have been Chinese/Asian style, others have been really terrible.

I really like them, but I don't think I'd bring someone there early in a relationship.

Do not care for buffet restaurants...they remind me too much of Walmart, and I hate Walmart.

my family loves them! i hate them! so much waste and i would rather spend the money on a smaller plate of high quality food. Golden carel is $10 where i m, for that price i can get thai food and a thai iced tea!

We have an amazing seafood buffet that I would consider ok for date night, it has a lot of high end foods but also a high end price.

I don't like them, I just can't eat enough for it to be worth it, and don't think it's a sexy date either

very occasionally .... i typically don't eat meat, just seafood - buffets don't usually have good seafood.

Love buffets! I just try not to think about the cleanliness factor.

I chose sometimes, because while I've been to some really fantastic buffets that I love, I've also been to some that are really gross. It's mostly about the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. I like to go to buffets that are always really busy, because there is a high turnover of the food and you know it hasn't been sitting there on the buffet all day.

One of our favorite places to eat here is Flat Top Grill, because it's really unique. The buffet is made of totally raw or basic ingredients - fresh veggies, rice, noodles, tofu, raw meats (don't worry they'll cook it), and a wide variety of sauces. Then after you go through the buffet they cook your custom stir-fry for you. It's always awesomely clean and they're really great about avoiding cross-contamination and catering to dietary restrictions.

Some buffets are ok. But I usually find that their food is either poor quality or their food is cold, etc. Overall, not a huge fan.

I do, but I don't. I dislike going to a place where it's all I can or want to eat anything I want. It's ok once in a great while, but I don't try to make a habit of it.

Buffets can be good, typically I'd prefer a meal that was cooked before it came out. Buffets are only good if the staff is on top of rotating the food out. Otherwise I feel it becomes stale and loses flavor.

I like them! Not always, since over eating is practically the plan.

Yummy sometimes, but I stuff my face so It wouldn't be a good date because buffets usually make me sick (because I eat as much as I can fit in my stomach)

I prefer my food hot and fresh to order, but sometimes a buffet can be fun in a casual environment.

I would, if any were open past midnight and I was drunk and starving. On any other occasion, no. Most are very low quality food that tastes horrible. I'd rather cook myself.

I could spend all day at this sushi buffet downtown.
