Yes, I drank a smoothie and ate a muffin for breakfast while driving this morning. Not ideal, but sometimes you have to.

I'm usually rushed to do various errands at lunch and often end up eating while I'm driving. Probably not a good thing to be doing. I had a scare when eating a piece of fried chicken and of course driving. A piece of the crusty breaded skin got stuck in my throat and really substantially blocked my breathing. I was near a hospital and so headed to the ER entrance. I figured that since I can hold my breath just a little over sixty seconds but could still get just a little tiny bit of air I could probably make ninety seconds before I passed out. Lucky for me I coughed it out. I didn't eat fried chicken driving for quite a while after that.

While I'm just driving around town, or back and forth from work I won't eat anything, but I will chug down a soda. On long road trips, I'll make sure it's something small and snacky that can be easily consumed with one hand without making a big mess.
