Do you ever get so wrapped up in whatever you're doing that you forget to eat?

It's not so much that I forget to eat, it's that I have very little appetite.

My stomach does not let me forget. But I do choose to ignore hunger sometimes.

I try really hard not to forget. I get really cranky with the blood sugar drop.

I don't stick to a three meals a day eating plan anyway. There have been times at work where everything becomes impossible and everyone seems so rude...then I realize it's almost the end of my shift and I've had nothing but coffee.

Especially on my days off. I hate eating as soon as I wake up, so I usually potter around the house a bit to let me stomach settle first and before I know it, it's 1:00pm and its time for lunch.
I forget alll the time, I get sick off of breakfast, and forget lunch half the time I am so busy.

Unless it's a meal I'm really looking forward to, often I lose track of time. I have a habit of forgetting to eat until my bloodsugar drops so low, I am shocked I haven't gone into a coma. I am hypoglycemic, so I have a tendency to pass out, and when I start to realize it's getting too low, I have to eat something RIGHT THEN. I don't have time to make anything, I have to eat a poptart or candy or something with high sugar content, even drink a soda, just to prevent passing out. My sugar has gone down below 40, and once below 30. For those of you who monitor sugar levels, that's dangerous to get that low, and it happens more often to me than you'd think. My issue is, I have an odd sleep schedule now that I don't have to work, and I'm an insomniac. So say I'm up for 48+ hours, often I'll forget when I ate last, heck I can barely keep track of what day it is...so it's easy to forget. And worse for me is I get acid reflux which makes me FEEL hungry when I'm not, or cravings because of a medication I'm on, so I never know when it's actual hunger or just wanting food when I shouldn't be eating it.

No - my body will tell me when I need to eat - and I listen, it's just a normal biological process to me - I try not to over think it.

sometimes I get involved in what I'm doing and just don't think about it.
