I try to go 4 to 5 days a week. Usually 30-45 of cardio (usually running). And then either some circuit weights, core exercises, or dumbell workouts to tone and slightly build some muscle. I have recently started running 5k races and wanted to get in shape for that. My midlife crisis motivation was to sign up for the Tough Mudder
which started my big pseudo fitness kick. I have lost 35 or so pounds and have never been this fit in my life. It has really helped with all areas of my life. I am in a better mood, have more energy, and the better fitness and flexibility means better sex with more positions becoming possible.
