I have trouble throwing away sentimental trinkets and papers, but for the most part, I can just toss everything else. I really have to be in the mood to clean up though, otherwise I just save everything.

My problem is with things that are supposed to be sentimental. I hate getting cards for occasions. How long do I keep them? When can I get rid of them?
I hate rushing around for boxes when moving, so I tend to keep folded boxes to help with that. I just keep them under the bed or in the back of a closet. "Waste not, want not" right? less

That's why I never get anyone cards! I'd rather spend the $5 dollars on something nice that they can eat or something.

It depends. I am THE WORST at getting rid of clothes--all I can think about is "what if I wake up with an overwhelming urge to wear *blank* and it's gone?!"

It is hard to throw stuff away for me. I feel a little guilty and ungrateful. Like JR said "waste not , want not." But that is my summer project to clean out all our closets and dressers and get rid of things!

Yea I have such a hard time throwing things away, expecially anything that has a face or eyes (like toys and stupid stuff) toy story messed me up, I'm convinced they know I'm rejecting them!

I have three kids, so I have lots of things that have special moments tied to them. I try to throw away most things, but there are some thing that I save because they're special to me, and hopefully will be to my children when they grow up as well.

I used to be really bad about hoarding things, but I've gotten pretty good now at detaching myself from possessions and getting rid of them if need be. There are a few items I could never dream of doing this with, though.

I struggle with this big time! I have ADD, so I'm not very organized and my hubby and I BOTH have a ton of stuff. You can imagine what our house looks like. It's not a pretty sight. My problem is that I get so overwhelmed when I see mountains of clutter that I can't even START going through it to sort the stuff I want to keep from the stuff I want to get rid of. Eventually, I'll need to hire an organizer to come in here and just force me to get started and keep me on task until I've gone through ALL OF IT. It's sort of a dream of mine. LOL!
