In moderation. A couple of drinks is all I do. Rum is my guilt of choice, but I like to make margaritas and cocktails.

I love wine but it's expensive when I go out so I usually get a hard cider or a mixed drink I hate beer.

The only reason I drink certain alcoholic beverages is because I like the taste!
I refuse to even touch American beer. That stuff is disgusting! But German beer is a whole different thing! I LOVE the taste of rich dark doppelbock beer. There are some excellent ones like Spaten Optimator and Salvator.
For me, wine can't be too dry. I love dessert wines like Moscato and Mead, but I won't touch anything super dry. Same goes with sparkling wines. I love spumante and champagne that leans to the sweet side.
The hard liquors I like are all pretty sweet. I love the flavored vodkas and rums, and lots of the liqueurs like DiSaronno, etc. I also love high end single malt scotch.
The only thing that isn't on the list is Lambic. That stuff is awesome! It's beer brewed with fruit. My favorite is the peach flavor.
The sad thing is, my hubby and I will make one drink to split and I'll take a few sips and then I'm done. LOL! I literally just drink it for the taste and then I don't want anymore.

Mikes Hard Cranberry Lemonade, Jagermeister, Arbor Mist, Fuzzy Navals, Screwdrivers, Long Island Iced Tea, Strawberry Margaritas on the rocks...I could go on for a while. I am NOT an alcoholic, I swear.

i drink like once or twice a year a beer or a mix drink maybe at a fam gathering but dont like it. i rather have a glass of wine once in a blue i just tasted wine for the first time not too long ago and liked it

Miss Nessa, there's nothing wrong with not drinking alcohol, it just might not be your thing. Not drinking will save you a lot of money over the years. I like it but I also recognize that the majority of the stupid things I've done in my life were while I was drunk, nuff said there.

I use to drink a lot but, now I don't have much of a desire. Once in awhile I'll have a mixed drink, wine cooler, or something similar. I HATE, LOATHE, CAN'T STAND beer. Yuck! I've never liked beer but, it's the only thing my husband likes.
