My dad eats oatmeal almost every day, and has for the past 40 years.

I'll eat it occasionally, but I need some flavoring in it, like, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, so on.

Though my favorite flavor has always been maple&brown sugar.
It makes a good cookie too, and I've heard of it used as a filler in meatloaf in place of breadcrumbs to make it a bit healthier.

You'd probably be shocked at how much oatmeal that I eat. We buy 10 lb boxes of steel-cut which lasts about 3-4 weeks. I adulterate my email with nuts, flax, cinnamon and dark chocolate.

Sometimes, but it's never my first choice. I prefer toaster struddles, coffee cakes, pancakes, etc. I do like oatmeal some though
