I've only had okra once, and it was fried (and delicious), but I get the feeling that I'd enjoy it cooked other ways as well. I'm not a picky person, especially when it comes to veggies. (I think it's a veggie... I don't really know)

It looks alright, but I've never had it.
One of my friends found it sort of amusing that I've never tried it...if I remember right, her comment was something to the effect of "oh honey, you really ARE a yankee". x'D

I've seen it in the freezer section of the store though...sorta tempted to give it a go.
