I love calypso and other similar kinds of music, and Afro-Carribean music is amazing, but I don't like most reggae.

I love reggae music. Then again, there is really nothing I like better than spending time in Jamaica. It's beautiful there. The air smells of suntan lotion and happiness.

Oooh, I know. Do you have any resorts/places to visit that you recommend? My husband and I are planning a vacation to the Caribbean and leaning strongly to Jamaica. We'd like a more 'authentic' experience than the typical.

I like reggea a lot, but only not every band. Some sound really horrible. Of course Mr. Bob Marley is the godfather of Reggea. I think he has never been paralleled.

But for dancing I prefer Ska and Ska-Punk.
