i love first person shooter video games...have loved them ever since doom 2...but i can't play games where i'm a soldier killing humans. never been able to enjoy that. am i alone on that one? i love playing halo and left 4 dead...but i don't care how good call of duty is, i will never play it. so, do you play video games where you kill other humans? ps. i don't think video games, whether killing humans or not, has any more affect on violence in societ than tv or movies. i just personaly don't like how it feels to play those games.

It depends on the game. I like the Halo games, and as a kid I loved Doom, too. I love the Metal Gear games too. I don't like the CoD games and other war-like games. The plot never really interested me much. I'm more a fan of Role-playing, action-adventure, puzzle or side-scrolling games anyways.

I do, I find it an excellent means of venting the days frustrations.
If it's virtual people I don't see much harm in it for me, though I'm sure violent shoot 'em up style games could possibly be a contributing factor in mass shootings in real life depending on certain factors in the persons life.
For me, I couldn't harm much more than a bug/spider in real life without feeling horrible...actually even then I feel a little bad sometimes.
