In newer cars (most made in the last 20 years) the A/C doesn't use up much gas at all. It's one of those old urban legends.

Luckily in Seattle, we dont get really HOT weather... So I my car A/C is rolling the windows down!! Plus gas is still high ($3.85 last I checked) and I cant afford to always have A/C on. = (

air conditioner any other day but when its super nice out i like having the window down...just make sure to bring a hair brush lol

Depends on the temp outside. If it's too hot I want the ac on, but when it's below 80, I'd rather have windows open and get some fresh air.

While I love to have the wind in my hair, I live in South Carolina. Having a window open right now makes it feel like I have the heat on, as the wind keeps the horrible, hot air centered in my car.
I do try to mix it up or keep my AC low so I can get the best fuel economy.

Depends on my mood! And how hot it is. If it's WAY too hot, A/C is necessary! But I really like to have the windows open, I always feel boxed in and out of touch with nature when I'm driving without the windows open D:

I prefer windows down. It's more refreshing. I find the air conditioning too stuffy and I have trouble breathing with it on.
