Yes, and I mostly don't mind it. The only headache is sorting the plastics the recycling center will take (1,2) from the ones they won't (3,4,5).

I did until the recycling business closed. Now we just keep our burnables out and dump the rest.

We recycle everything that our local recycling company accepts.

We recycle our aluminum cans (soda, energy drinks, etc...) out of habit from living in Oregon (where you pay an extra 5 cents for each can you purchase and then get your 5 cents back when you return the cans to a recycling center at a grocery store). Now in Washington, we still get paid to recycle them, but do not pay a deposit. We stock pile them in the garage for about 6 months though, because we get 10 cents a pound more if we take in over 50 pounds at a time. That's about 2 loads in the back of my little pick up truck!
The rest we don't bother with though...our city picks up recycling and the truck go to the incinerator (with all the other trash), it seems like a waste of time for us to seperate it when they just toss it in and burn it up anyway!

Rant warning. Danger Will Robinson!
In my city/metropolitan area, the garbage company also does recycling, meaning, homeowners have two bins, one for recycling (not sorted), one for garbage. I live in an apartment. The apartment complex does not offer any recycling dumpsters. My household has to, therefore, go extremely out of our way (about a 15-20 minute drive) to a recycling center to deposit our recycling. This gets annoying, since we neither have a ton of room to stock recycling, nor a ton of room to transport said recycling stuff.
We recycle everything, plastics, glass, aluminum, tin. As a result, we only take our garbage out when it starts to stink, which happens before it gets filled most of the time. I wish we had a community composter... we'd even throw out less.

Yep. We have a city-issued recycling bin outside, and take stuff out there almost every day.

I'm a terrible person who leaves a huge carbon footprint. I definitely do not recycle. I used to when the garbage men would pick it up at the house, but when they stopped, I didn't feel like taking it to recycle myself.

Yes, but recently some punk stole my recycling box so I'm a little down about that. I mean, who steals recycling boxes?!
