I usually check eBay when I'm shopping for something. Sometimes I find unbelievable deals there, especially from smaller sellers. I like the feedback function a lot. It's good to know whether someone can be trusted.

There's some really neat stuff on ebay, but also a lot of ripoffs. You just have to be smart about it. I've only bought a few stuff from ebay though.

For awhile i didnt because there was one case where i ordered something and recieved something totally different in the mail and there was another case where i paid a good deal of money for something and they claimed they didnt recieve my payment when i did pay for it and they were just scamming cash out of their customers

I love ebay! Just got a new charger cable for a dollar with free shipping that the electronics store down the road had the nerve to slap a 30 dollar price tag on.
Also to anyone getting scammed, ebay and paypal take this very seriously, be sure to report the offender both to ebay and file a paypal dispute against them. I've never personally had a problem with this but it does happen, unfortunately enough.
