I use my cell phone as an alarm clock. Also, I don't mind getting texts from friends or partners at odd hours of the night.

Yes, it's always on and near me in the event someone needs to get a hold of me for emergencies or whatever. I also use it as a backup alarm clock in the case that my power goes out and screws up my actual alarm clock (which has happened before and I hate).

It's my backup alarm clock, so it's always on and nearby. Sometimes in bed, if I fall asleep texting (which is pretty often)!

The only time the phone sleeps by me is when we're having bad weather so I receive the weather textsw. Other than that, it sleeps in my purse which is in the kitchen.

I have it on and by my bed it is my alarm clock also if there is an emergency someone can reach me other than that noone calls or text me late so i have nothing to worry about people bothering me
