Among my queer friends, we generally seem to be on good terms with the first people we ever had sex with. But my straight friends seem to have a completely different experience in that department. I was curious-- do you still talk to the first person/people you had sex with? Feel free to share details as to why or why not

I checked "it's complicated." I actually stayed on good terms with my first boyfriend for a long time after we split. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago.

No. It's not that I would refuse to speak to him if I saw him, but I don't have any particular reason to contact him now. Last I saw he was married with a new baby... I dodged that one personally, but I genuinely hope they're happy!

Well, I do still hear from him from time to time, and we slept together again once a couple years ago. I was by no means his first, but he has had a thing for me ever since we dated briefly back in high school. When I hear from him it's usually him beating himself up for letting me go or wanting to hook up, but he's married now, and I am very very happy in my relationship. So for the most part I try to ignore him nowadays. As for the second person I had sex with, we are still very good friends.

I'm straight, and I still talk to the first person I had sex with.

I live with him! We're married.

We had an Open Relationship about a year after we got together for several years, so I've had other lovers (and he's older, so he had lovers before and while we were Open) but we ended up together and are still in love.

I actually know a number of straight people who are still friends with their first lover or other lovers.

I'm on good terms with an other of my ex-lovers as well.

In this day of complete interconnected lifestyles, we both decided to find out what we could about our past lovers....and went on Facebook, Google...etc, to find what became of them. Neither of us could find many of these people. We tried. No go. SO...no clue where they are or what they are doing and thus, NO, we sure don't talk.
