I don't though I've thought about it. Too much of a hassle.

We use our cloth bags since the two or three supermarkets we shop at either give you a small discount for each bag, or enter you into a GC drawing. Sometimes I forget, but two of the supermarkets use paper bags only (made from recycled paper, and can in turn be recycled again) and I keep the plastic bags from the other one to use as liners in the waste baskets around the house.

No one has mentioned it so far, but there is one downside to reusable bags: they need to be cleaned or washed periodically. I've literally seen dirt, dried liquids, even mold on bags customers give to the cashier. I can only imagine the petri-dish qualities of the inside of the bag — where they're putting their fresh food!

Plastic or paper bags if I'm driving and its not a place that charges you.
Backpack if they charge or I'm on a bicycle.

I do, but only because the cheap plastic ones cut into my hands.

For places like publix or target, yes. Some places I don't really have the time or it's inconvenient, so I don't bother and just reuse the plastic bags I get as trashbags.

Yep, my whole family is big on reusable bags, so it's very easy for me to do, there are always bags available.

I should, but I don't. However, I do end up reusing most of the plastic bags for garbage in my bedroom and bathroom.

No, could never remember to put them back in the car when they were unloaded, or grab them when I went. Plus the baggers around here aren't taught to load them so you get maybe 5 items per bag and then have to carry twice the amount you would normally have.
