Yes I work typical hours. Usually from 8 to 5

I work 4 out of 7 days. Shifts are scheduled for 10 hours (starting anytime 8AM-12PM) but usually end up closer to 12.

Why...I laugh when I think about this. I start work at about 5 AM. I rarely end before 8 to 9pm. Sometimes later. I still have about an hour to two hours of transcription and email to answer (professional) at home, when I finally get there.

I cannot begin to imagine what people do with their time if they "only" work 40 hours a week. I would love to know the "relaxation" of only working 80 hours a week, many times!!!!

Nope. I'm a full time student with a part time job and a part time internship. I fit my work schedule in where I can. I usually work 7-11 PM or 2-7 PM.
Welcome to a taste of what your life will be like if you become a professional in most fields.

Typical... hours? Is... is there such a thing? God I wish I had a typical SCHEDULE. I never know any of my schedule more than a week in advance. There are many days I don't know if I'm going to work that day until just a few hours beforehand!
In my line of work, there are no "schedules". We work till the work is done...and that can be very, very late at night.

I have been on 3-12 for about 20 years now. It does help to keep me out of trouble.
