Does Anyone Else Have a "Bedtime"?

Contributor: Septimus Septimus
I know it sounds ridiculous. I mean come on, we're all adults here, why should we have bedtimes?
But I've found that if I don't impose some sort of cut-off point for myself, I'll be up all night watching crap TV or surfing the internet.
Lately my cut-off has been midnight, but it's varied slightly over the last year or so.
What do you guys think? Do any of you do this, or am I totally nuts here?

I wouldn't say you're nuts, but I haven't had a bed time in like eight or nine years myself.
About the only time I set a certain point where I have to get to bed is if I have something to do early in the morning, for example: garbage day, if I'm not in bed by about three then I make myself stay up until dawn so I can put it by the curb.

I don't have a strict bedtime or anything but I do prefer to be in bed before midnight.

I'm in college and my class schedule is different everyday, so my sleep patterns aren't super consistent. My bed time is usually just 8 hours before I want to wake up.

When I'm home my dad is really anal about "bedtimes," and it really frustrates me because he doesn't understand that different people have different rhythms that their bodies go by, and he just takes any instance of me trying to explain that to him as spite. But generally when I'm at school and have class in the morning, I try to go to bed by midnight or so.

We have times that we 'normally' go to bed, but only the kids have a bedtime in our house.

Since i get up for work at 4:30 am i have to be in bed by 11 to try to sleep. Then on my day's off I'll go to bed when I'm tired and wake up naturally when I'm fully rested.
