Most definitely. When everything is clean and orderly, I am in a wonderful mood.

Also, as the list of home repairs grow, I tend to get stressed.

Yes. I prefer it when it's neat and clean...which isn't often. lol

Definitely, for me it's about knowing where things are though. If someone moves stuff I'm so disconcerted.

Yes! I am much more relaxed after moving out of our apartment.

It's a real thing. If your living area is clean and organized, your thoughts tend to be too!

Yes! With six kiddos going every which way...and Mr working...and Mrs volunteering...things get CRAZY MESSY...and Mrs feels crazed!

Once it is all cleaned up...ahhhhh...peaceful ....

Another vote for: YES! It does. I really do not like it when things are messy and out of place, I feel better, sleep better, etc. when things are tidy and clean.

Absolutely! When I'm on top of things and the house is clean and relatively tidy ( we have a two year old) then I am more pleasant and relaxed.

Like everyone else, it does affect my mood. I'm not a neat-freak, but I don't want our apartment to be a disaster, or actually dirty. Our mood also affects the condition of the apartment though - at the end of the semester there's no time or energy for cleaning. I've requested the day after my finals end off from work, so I'll spend the day cleaning and getting everything nice and back to normal C:

If there are piles of junk around then I can't relax. A place for everything and everything in its place.

Big time. I am true believer in the correlation between a disaster of a house and depression issues.

I always feel better when my house is clean. Just did that today, too!
