My man and I love Domino's pizza because we can't always afford Pizza Hut and Domino's tastes great for the price. They have great customer service, and every time I have had a complaint about my food they fix it immediately!

Problems arise, though, when it comes to delivery. We live literally 2 blocks from the nearest location (5 minute WALK). Yes, I know, if I am so close, why have it delivered? Well, both my man and I have pretty bad back problems and it seems when we are both at our worst we crave pizza.

Well, every time we have it delivered, it takes 25+ minutes after the Domino's Online Tracker says it's out for delivery! Our pizza usually doesn't arrive piping hot, but our driver is really sweet so I don't want to tattle on him much.

We got pizza today for our anniversary because neither one of us wanted to cook and I was able to get delivery for free. 35 minutes after the tracker said it was out, the Domino's guy rang our doorbell.

Do I have a reason to be ticked off? Or should I just be happy they even deliver 2 blocks away? Thoughts? Speak freely, I don't get offended easily! =)

Part of me wants to say "dude, you're getting it delivered 2 blocks away?" but then part of me goes "dude, they can't get a pizza 2 blocks away in less than a half hour?" lol. For that, I might call and complain because half an hour for a 2 block walk seems a bit ridiculous, and if he's driving? Even more so.

I can kindof understand how you feel. There's this great little pizza/wings/burgers place about 6 miles away from our apartment. Each time we order from them, we get a little more frustrated. Last night was even worse.
Like I said, they're about 6 miles away. We order a quesadilla and two burgers just about every time. Somehow, it takes them an hour (minimum!) to cook it and deliver it! I could drive to the grocery store, get the ingredients, come home and make it myself in that amount of time! And last night, it took an hour and a half! I feel like that's just a ridiculously long time to wait for food in a small area like this.

I used to work at a pizza place, so I know that sometimes the delivery drivers will take out multiple orders at once. But if you're only 2 blocks from the Domino's, they should deliver yours first. The place I worked at was in a sort of shopping strip, and we had people that were just a few doors down order delivery.

I don't have a car, so I always get mine delivered even though it's about a 5 minute walk away from me, too.

I think that's really excessive delivery time. I used to work at a pizza place that delivered and most of the time, if they lived within 1-2 miles, they got their pizza in less than ten minutes after it came out of the oven.

When I order from my Dominoes, I usually have it within 10-15 minutes of the online tracker saying it's out for delivery.

Maybe the updates on the tracker for that location are just a little fast?

I've had things delivered from around the corner, if the weather is bad enough for me to be unwilling to make the trek. A delivery time of 15 minutes + is excessive for that, and I would most certainly be calling if my food was anything less than hot.

I love Domino's and used to order frequently from my old place. I was maybe 1.5 miles away, and it was ~10-20min for delivery. Don't know why it takes so long for you to get it. I really like their online order set-up. Makes it really easy to order and sometimes they have good coupon deals.
