I always loved to back sites up which I enjoyed a lot, with so much content of my taste that it would truly be a pain to get things from it one by one...

As many of you know it is legal to download individual pages and even whole websites too, as long as it is for your private reading only... Or maybe something different, but close to it, all in all it is commonly used and not something to be weirded out about...

Do you download websites with the right applications (many are free to download) to have offline for later use? Like if you worry that it will disappear with time, or you know you won't have internet for a while in the future and want to have fine things to read or listen to?

No. And as the owner of 3 websites, I use software that blocks site scrapers (which is what you call that software). It creates a huge hit on the website's monthly bandwidth when people do that, and in some cases can result in the site being shut down.

I used to save HTML based sites that I knew I would revisit frequently like TheClitoris. I had old Betty Dodson's website archived until quite recently. Unfortunately I had to move my data and compromise between things that I really needed to keep. I misjudged and deleted a folder with a site on my fetish. It was in Russian so I had scraped the site for images. I miss them very much. Now I have practically no porn It's hard to find good things with my fetish.
