Eden Pets!

Here is a pic of Ginger (Lab/Weinheimer mix) and Little Bits (Miniature Pinscher)



And Zoe (Lab mixed with ?) and Casey (not sure what breed) my old cat.



Both Zoe and Ginger are unfixed girls and Little Bits is a unfixed male. He is there stud, and they, are his bitches. Funny thing is both girls are Bi. That is they hump each other all the time, but when they go into heat they try to give it up to Little bits. Funniest thing to watch, he can not figure out how to get them. We do have to keep an eye on them though. Hopefully when I get a job, we can get him fixed.

Casey is the oldest, about 13. Zoe is 11, Ginger is 8 and Little Bits is 5. They all are a major part of our family and we love them dearly.

Oh, almost forgot. This is Terry, our beloved Rooster.



He may not live in the house, but we love him just the same. We also have three hens. During warm weather they provide a lot of enjoyment just watching them "Peck" around. They have been great for the kids. less

Calico is actually a description of the coat color. A cat with orange, black, and white is considered calico, no matter how much of each color is present. Most non-purebred cats are classified as domestic short hair or domestic long hair, depending on hair length. This is basically the equivalent of calling the cat a mutt.

Warning: Incoming stupid animal fact. Calicos and tortoise shells (orange and black coat) are almost always female because the color genes are on the X chromosome. less

They really are fun to have, they are fun to watch, keep the bugs/insects down and are fairly cheap to feed. For a bag of feed, to feed the four of them, it costs about $13 and it will last about seven weeks in the winter ten or twelve in the summer. Fresh eggs are nice to. less

Both of them, in the snow. A female Black Lab and a male (neutered) Malamute. They are legally married.



The Mal, "talking" to us about all the snow. He was so happy.



The Lab, looking at something. She was trying to get over the fence, as she thinks it's amusing to run around the neighborhood. It's something we discourage, but we she was an abandoned little Street Dog, and wants to return to her Dog Hobo roots. (while still getting food, warmth and shelter and her husband from our place.)



The Malamute is about 6 years old and the Black Lab is about 3 or 4 years old. less

Awww doesn't it just warm the soul? So many gorgeous, beautiful, adorable babies!

P'Gell - Your dogs are so beautiful!!! I just love 'em. They look like they were having loads of fun in the snow.

JR - I could totally watch videos of your kitties all day long. I lubers them to bits. They are just too cute for words! less

Answer about my dog's name:

The girl at the pet store (where my mother was getting her fish) totally freaked in happiness when she overheard that my dog's name is Voldemort. I named him that because he had a similar beginning - his mommy was inbred, he wasn't supposed to be born, and he's a terror. It's funny for him to have that name because he's a fou-fou dog. less

Ok. This isn't one of mine, but I couldn't resist.

I'll add some pix of my actual cats when I'm less tired. While you wait, I'll tell you of some endearing quirks of my flame point siamese:
-He loves my husband's shoes. (but not mine and not my son's)
-He loves my husband's gym bag, esp. right after he's returned from the gym.
He treats both of these items as though they are made of catnip, rubbing himself all over them. If given the chance he will jump inside the gym bag and sleep. less
