From what I understand, less then HALF of Americans even have a WILL...and many think they don't have enough "stuff" to need one, but do you really want Uncle Sam deciding who gets ALL your stuff????

SO..do you have a will? If not, WHY not?? (You can get one online for under $20).

Yes, we have a will, power of attorneys and Right to Die forms all on file so our kids and parents don't have to make these decisions for us.

No but we do need to do that. Just in case something were to happy to hubby and I we would need to give the kids to someone who can handle it. We discussed it once but did not do this. That is all we have that is will worthy.

We set up a will, healthcare directives, power of attorney, etc right after my son was born. We just started a trust a few months ago.

A sex toy will. Hmmm... I've been wondering what to do about that. I can imagine someone finding my stash and just chucking it, not knowing what else to do with it. Gah! Olga in the garbage. What an awful thought.

What about you, Bignuf? Do you have one?

I've had a living will since I was 16 and I update it regularly. I've had life insurance since I was a kid that my parents set up for me. And, for the related question, I've already added my toys as well as all of my belongings in general to the will I have nos haha!

I have ALL bases covered for once I die or if I am on life support.

I don't have one, I just assumed (yes I know, assuming is bad) that everything would go to my husband, my children, or my remaining immediate family.

I actually taped a will for myself when I was 16. I don't have one now, though. I'm not too worried about things. We don't have much, and my husband/family knows my burial wishes.

No I really don't have that much stuff, however I do feel bad for not having advanced medical wish etc. , because you never know, and I wouldn't want to put my family in and uncomfortable situation.

We have wills, but we are in the process of revising them because they are several years old. We have also taken care of the after death arrangements by joining the Neptune society (cremation prearrangement).
My wife has a living will, but I need to get mine filled out yet.
