Elevator or stairs?

My choice tends to depend on if I have my dog with me or not. Strangely enough if I don't I will use the stairs if I do ELEVATOR for sure. Why? Because I have a rather large dog and she hates stairs and tries to run own them instead of walking calmly which I know is absolutely my fault for not exposing her to them when she was younger.

Till I got old and my knees hurt, I might have taken stairs. Now, show me the elevator, thank you.

I'm always trying to get in a couple extra steps, and I take the stairs whenever I can. Sometimes if I am in a huge rush or something I will take the elevator, it's rare though.

Depends on how I am feeling that day. I try to exercise but I also suffer from a lot of knee and hip pain and sometimes the stairs just aren't reasonable.

If I were going up 4-5 levels? Definitely the elevator. My knees are quite bad and I have trouble with stairs, but if I'm only going up a level or two, I don't have the patience for an elevator.

My people call it a "lift" but I must say, 2-3 floors I'm happy to walk; any more and I get lazy - mainly because I buy a lot of shopping.

I was just at a hotel, and there was a big storm. Lost all power. Had to walk nine flights, three times, just to get my luggage to check out. Fun, fun.

I prefer stairs. I like walking and I don't like confined spaces. I feel like elevators should be everywhere, for people who struggle with mobility issues, but I am not one of those people and I don't feel like taking them because of that.

Elevator, just to bother IRL people who give advices (sometimes totally unrelated to what you're doing) when you didn't ask any.
Once a dude told me to take the stairs because it was better for legs. First, with my knee joint problems, it's not. Second, I don't know why he told me that, I wasn't going to take an elevator, I was just thinking about what CDs I would rent and felt good and everything. Then he laughed at me, an ironic laugh, for some reason. Still do not understand why. Mind your own business, asshole. He made me panic because I really did not understand, and now he probably forgot about it but I'm still stressed thinking about it, especially because of the laugh which was clearly mocking me and not a real laugh. It seems silly but in context you'd probably have reacted the same way as me. I hope he leaves kids alone, now.
Also, elevator so when I have walked for most of the day, I can stop. With the state of my joints, no, I shouldn't use the stairs or walk as much as I do sometimes. I walk that much because I don't have a car and sometimes don't have money for public transport and want to avoid getting caught in it without having paid. So I can take the elevator, damn it! Thankfully, most days, I don't have to walk around or walk around that much.

Stairs if it's 1-3 floors.

If its one or two stories I'll usually take the stairs because I feel kinda lazy if I don't. If I'm running late for something or am a little sick I'll take the elevator since its faster (for the most part) and its easier on me for when I'm sick.
