I'm assuming the majority are going to say no, but I made a bucket list and one of the things on there I decided I really want to do is learn to fly an airplane! Does anyone else think this would be a cool thing to do? Or have you already done this?

No, but I'd love to one day! I used to have an intense phobia of flying due to the fact that I had a panic attack on a flight. Took me a lot of effort to get over that. So now I fly whenever I can. Flying the plane myself would just take it one more step.

I have 2 uncles who are pilots and I grew up flying with them and when I was a teenager they let me actually learn, I never got officially trained though

I have been flying since I was a teenager, but it's a expensive hobby and right now I cant afford to do it, in fact I have to take a physical to keep my license.

When I was seven, and rules about airplanes weren't so strict, I go to go into the cockpit and sit with the pilots and 'steer' while we landed in my hometown. I'll never forget it.
But no, I have never technically flown and airplane.

When I was young my dad had a Cessna. He would take it up quite often. Of course this was when it was much cheaper to own a plane. Sometimes he would let me fly the plane.
