Facebook can Suck it!!!!

I have a separate FB account for my EF stuff...FB just disabled. I'm not even posting globally. I assume it's either for "spamming" or for a "fake" identity maybe. I like the special offers and such we get for liking Eden on FB, but I don't particularly want my personal profile to reflect my activity on EF. Anyone else having trouble with this? If so, what did you do to fix it?

I haven't thought to do that. I agree that the idea of having my parents and grandparents seeing my EF activity is not something I want. Unfortunately I have no idea how to help you.

Man, I just didn't bother. I kind of wanted to make a second FB account for facebook, but it all seems like too much trouble. I basically ignore the facebook, pinterest, and stumble stuff. I got twitter for them, shouldn't that be enough? I generally hate social media sites it seems like. I just don't want to have to do that, and I don't want to accidentally make a mistake and tell all my family I like ... this stuff. XD

I didn't add any friends or anything...just proabably looks shady. I wish there were similar benefits for Twitter folks, like FB...I've got over 2000 twitter followers and they retweet my posts and like my advice. Anywho...guess my FB run was good while it lasted...we shall see

I've had some issues too. Recently I had to change my password because of inactivity! I guess they were maybe going to close my profile?? Don't know.

Easy fix to use your normal Facebook I had to do this. Go to your profile click on "likes" then click edit go down to "Other pages you like" click the icon next to it an then click "Only Me" as your audience then NO ONE on your friends list can see what you are liking on here. I have done for my account an 2 others friends for this EXACT reason. However, this will still show on your timeline to you if you don't want your timeline that ONLY you see filled with the activity you can "hide from timeline"

I've always said to Hell with contests that require me to do some stupid bullshit with Facebook. I've never liked Facebook, nor will I ever. I just find it very dumb that so many places online obsess over a stupid "like" button.

I hid mine as well but, since I'm always worried that it will somehow enable my friends to see it again, I try to stick with the more modest products and reviews. I have kids and even a pastor on my facebook, don't want them seeing that I just liked a new vibe!

Facebook disabled mine and they won't reactivate it unless I link a cell phone number. What the frack? Oh, and you can only link a number with one account. What if I didn't have a cell phone? Debating buying a $10 burner phone and linking that...

NO WAY!? FB disabled that account yet they refuse to take down pages that are all about abuse?! WTF. Yes, then, facebook can certainly suck it. I don't think spam would be a reason for them to take it down because there are millions of business and organization fb pages that do a lot of promoting and ONLY promoting... weird.

I haven't set up a fake account, too much work. I assume just not like anything on facebook, although it would be nice to have some extra points.

I was thinking about creating a second FB account for EF.I'd friend other EF people there, but that's all. Would that keep it from seeming shady to FB? I really don't want it linked to my regular FB. Would anyone want to be friends there?

I don't have a FB account for Eden and I don't use or mention Eden on my regular FB account. I don't use FB often, mostly to keep track of friends I see not that often and to send funny things to my kids and other people.

My aunts and my nieces and nephews and my kids are FB friends, as is my boss and owner of the agency I work for. So, nothing goes on my FB account that is more than PG13.

So, no "FB friends" free toys for me. No Eden contest entries on FB. Nothing like that.

Many of us have professional careers and although I see nothing wrong with loving sex toys, it isn't something I want my kids and my nieces and nephews and aunts or my boss to see.

FB does make it clear, for whatever reason, that you aren't "allowed" to have two accounts. So, I don't have an answer. I just don't partipate in Eden activities on FB.

I had the same thing happen to me. I'm thinking about borrowing my mother in laws phone one day so I can get the text sent to her phone so I can deactivate it. I don't know how we can change our Eden accounts that are linked already on here or I'd use the suggestion of hiding all.

I don't have this problem and I use my regular FB account. I just have it set too private where no one can see what I am liking from EF.

I never do anything with Eden on my facebook. My parents, cousins, mommy friends, and all that are there. Although I don't have any problem talking with certain friends about Eden (can an do), I don't want what I'm interested in to be broadcast and gossiped about.

I won't link to Facebook because I don't trust FB's privacy settings enough. I really don't need my family and friends seeing all of my activity.

Yeah, I'm the same way, I don't really want my business here all over my Facebook. Where everyone from my 10-year-old cousin to 70-year-old Grandpa can see it! I've thought about creating another account, but I don't want to go through the trouble if they're going to disable it!

UGH! This just happened to me! I have a separate FB account too just for Eden. Everything is set to private so it wouldn't seem "spammy." They disabled the whole thing. I can't even login now. I HATE FB. This is why I use Twitter for my actual stuff.

Did you receive a warning before it was deleted?

I was doing some reading, and it seems that a lot of people are receiving warnings about having multiple accounts. A friend of mine received a warning stating that she had multiple accounts and they were going to be deleted a few weeks ago... She lives in a house with two children (both of whom use facebook), and her husband (who also uses facebook). So, it looks like Facebook is just going off of your IP address. So far all of their accounts are still working well.

Looking at FB's help pages, I saw a page with a link that allowed you to try and get your account back. Below that link was a little bit of information that said if your account was deleted without warning, it was because of what FB considers a serious violation, and that in those cases, they won't consider giving you back your account.
