Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed when you ask someone something on FB &they just totally ignore it!? I mean I know you saw it, I'm not stupid. I just feel like I deserve a small, stupid answer as your friend (someone I actually know outside of the online universe).

And while I'm at it, how about the people that post "OMG interview tomorrow", "Got the job", "The best thing happened today", "I can't believe he/she did that", or something along those lines (you get the point). Then you, or someone else, or numerous people inquire about the status and they just ignore any questions?! AHHH! Makes me want to shake them. Why put that crap on there if you don't want to talk to anyone? Just for the attention....?

Sorry, had to vent, and Lord knows you can't do that on FB because someone always judges you, takes it out of context, or has to be a complete jerk to you.

This is exactly why I stay away from FB mostly. Everyone thinks that they can say what they want, including attacking other people, but when they are attacked or questioned, it's the end of the world. It's like it doesn't really matter and no one is real. Like there is not really another person on the other side of the computer screen. Such is the monster social networking has created...

I hardly ever post about my personal issues or feelings on facebook. I only use it to share cool things I've found on the internet. I add all of my favorite brands/etsy shops in case they have facebook giveaways. I have my close family added and that's about it. I hate a lot of things about facebook but feel like I still need to keep mine for giveaways sake. lol.

I hate when people vent about life issues and say they everything sucks ect. and wait for people to say, "awww what's wrong?" So lame. lol. I also dislike seeing numerous posts of baby pictures/kids pictures. It's like, you know this is the internet right?! I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that at all. There's lots of other things that get on my nerves. I can't think of it all now.

I have two friends who I met at work who ignore my messages constantly. They don't work with me anymore so I don't really see them often. I've talked to other people who say they are often ignored as well. Since I can never get a response out of them, I don't really talk to them or invite them to go out anywhere. It takes two people to be friends.

As far as pointless status updates, I don't actually read anyone's aside from those posted by my actual friends. Most people seem to post things just to shove it in other people's faces or they post the same things over and over again. One girl only posts status updates about how much she loves her boyfriend. Since I don't really care about that, I don't read it.

I avoid posting anything negative or personal on my Facebook. I don't want future potential employers to be looking at it and think I'm a horrible person or something.

This is SO true. I just recently graduated and went through foot surgery and I had to go on personal leave from Wal-Mart and basically that means I lost my job and don't get unemployment. I've been applying to jobs for 3 weeks. During the time from not having a job I made posts about how I hate not working. Within in the 3weeks I have been saying how I wish people would hire me and give me a chance despite not having experience in my field. Someone that I THOUGHT was my friend commented on my status and said "Maybe if you had a better attitude and a more positive outlook then you would have a better chance at getting a job, you complain too much!". For one thing, since when is saying you hate not working or wish you had job qualify as complaining?! And another thing, where I have applied to, they don't know me so how do they know my attitude?! That just pissed me off and really hurt my feelings. People are so rude.

That reminds me of one girl that I "hid" because after every single post she would write ily *insert boyfriends full name*.
This one couple really cracks me up, it's not annoying, just funny. I have them both on my list. One will update what they ate and they will eat odd things at odd times. She will say something like "Just had BBQ ribs and corn for a midnight snack", then her boyfriend will update his status with the same thing. Ribs as a midnight snack? If I have a late night snack it's a pop tart or something,lol. But they are always posting their dinner and stuff. It's entertaining.

I don't mess much with it either, other than to keep family and friends informed on certain events. I don't use it for everyday chit chat, stalking, etc... I've seen my friend (in her 40's) and her ex (also in his late 40's) have it out on FB..geez whiz, keep that stuff OFF there.

Haha. YES! All those things annoy me on Facebook. The biggest thing that annoys me is when people post things like "omg, are you kidding me?" and only a couple of their close friends know what they are talking about. Either tell what happened, or don't post it on Facebook, use Twitter instead.

I try to only post things on Facebook that all of my friends would understand.

The only reason I have a facebook is so I can keep in contact with people I grew up with in NJ. I now live in SC. Where I don't have that many friends.

I do not like facebook, but have friends and family that would be too pissed if I closed my account--FB wants me to verify my phone number but never calls to do it so it might be out of my hands now, lol!!!

I have a hard time reading all the different posts. I have several friends so I'm hoping that if they need me in particular they'll at least write a private message which goes to my email. Facebook is hard. Some people get offended you never poke them, others get offended that you do poke them. I don't get it but everybody is different.
