Yumm! Can't wait till fresh fruit season for melon, Greek yogurt and granola type cereal. I could eat it 3 times a day!

I LOVE mangoes! Apples, bananas, pears, plums, and tangerines are good too. But mangoes are the best. Pomegranates are great too.

I would have to say my favorite is Strawberries, but I LOVE me some Kiwi and fresh Pineapple too. Also this past summer a friend brought us back a small case of mangoes from India. Ugh, they were to die for.
I really just like anything that's really fresh. I will take a peach fresh off the tree over strawberries that are in a carton at the store. We lived in Hawaii and I have never had better Pineapple in my life... buying a pineapple in Germany just isn't the same as getting one while on the islands.

When it's fresh off the plant & perfectly ripened, I doubt there's anything as perfectly delicious & uncomplicated as fruit and you don't have to do anything to it! I try to grow as much of my own food as possible & there really is no comparison between mine & what's at the grocery store.
The only fruit that comes to mind that I detest is durian because I can't get past the sewage smell!
