Favorite "old school" arcade game(s)?

Contributor: spiced spiced
I had lunch yesterday at a local deli I'd never visited before. The food was nothing special, but they had some "classic" arcade machines that really took me back.

Just like when I was a kid, I couldn't resist wasting a few dollars worth of quarters on Galaga, Donkey Kong and Ms. Pac Man. Seriously, I used to put about half of my disposable income into those machines when I was a teenager!

I was surprised how much fun these relatively simply games still are. I love way too many of them! One I'd really like to play again is Paper Boy. Haven't seen it in years...

How about you? Do you like any "classic", old school arcade video games?

Qbert was always a fave.
super mario bros was the one we spend most of our time at the arcade playing when it came out. before that star wars was a good one.

Galaga and Donkey Kong have always been my two faves. I just found out a friend of mine has MAME, with dozens of games. They play just like the real thing (it's the identical ROMs to what the arcade boxes used). A lot of fun!

I liked Ms Pac Man (better than Pac Man) and Space Inavders was pretty cool. Not sure why, but the black and white games didn't excite me the way the color games did. Although I spend A LOT of time playing Asteroids.

What is Dance Dance Revolution? I must've missed that one.

Old arcade game - Gauntlet 2 - at home was the Atari 2600 Star Wars game. How many of you have ever played either of these games??
