For the most part, do you agree on most things, or disagree on most things? Also, if you disagree on most things, does this ever cause rifts in your relationship?

I have a younger sister (2 years younger) and we are the opposite in basically everything. There are a few similarities in interests, but as for our looks and our opinions, no one would ever believe we are sisters.

I find that our opinions are SO different that it often turns into heated debates, that turn into arguing. Then she ignores me and writes me off for a little while. This just happened like 20 minutes ago so I am still kinda pissed off. She made a statement on her facebook, I disagreed with it (and I feel I did so in a non-attacking manner), and she got all angry and bitchy with me.

Yes, I know .. how mature, a facebook fight lol... but I seriously never intended on that, I simply stated my opinion, thats it! Ugh..

I'd have liked an other option. My sister and I overall agree on just about everything. My brother and I purposely avoid certain subjects to avoid starting screaming matches.

I have an older sister and a younger brother, there's been disagreement between them for ages. The solution is to move away, no more conflict. My sister remains in Cali, I'm now in Oregon, and my brother moved all the way to Vancouver, BC.

My sister and I rarely agree with each other, but we have such differing interests that we usually never even talk about anything that would cause screaming matches. Now the only time we really fight is when one of us tells the other they are wrong - neither of us like being wrong.

i'm 17 months older than my sister. we're so different that one time, a guy we knew looked at us & said, "wait, yall are sisters, o sh** i seriously just thought that yall's last name was a coincidence." which made me laugh. i actually like that my sister & i look nothing alike. besides not looking alike, though, we also like completely different things. we also like a lot of the same things too, though, such as our hate of justin beiber, our love of 90s nick toons, & a few other things. my sister tends to be really opinionated, though. so if i say something about something i like & my sister doesn't agree, she lets her opinion be known w/out considering other people's feelings. she can be really offensive sometimes.

My older brother and I get along very nicely, and we often agree on things we really connect through, like movies and video games. But he's more conservative, and I'm much more liberal in my views (we're different in a lot of ways, actually, now that I think about it). It's rare that we ever get into debates, though, since we either avoid the topics we disagree on or manage to talk about them calmly.

I agree with my little brother 90% of the time, and my sister and I don't always agree but on the rare occasion we talk, we try not to argue. But we don't really talk much, because we used to argue when we were speaking regularly.

My brother and I usually agree on most things, but we don't get into anything too deep. We are somewhat different in the people we are, but we're both grown ups and he can do things his way and I'll worry about my life over here. We don't really fight any more. He does like to argue, but it doesn't really bother me. My whole family does it.

Well I have 5 older siblings so it's different for us all. My oldest brother and I hate each other because he's a douche bag that thinks he's better than everyone. My older sister and I get alone and have an argument maybe once every 2 - 3 years. While my other 3 brothers get along and occasionally have a disagrement.

I voted that I "don't have siblings", but that's not entirely true. My mother decided, recently, to have a baby and my sister is two years old. So, at that age, I can't really say whether we agree or disagree.

I have one sister, we used to agree. Now we do not at all. Not since she dated this one guy and all of hated him and told her. This guy was trying to say he was Iraq war vet, then had 8years experience in his job, and all these wild stories and was only 25. It was impossible! So we all had to call BS and my sister has not been the same since.

i have a younger brother, about 2 years difference! we are very close now that were older & more mature. but you would of NEVER known it when we were younger. we fought like cats & dogs! glad we moved on from that! so we basically agree on most things now! & if we don't agree, he usually accepts what i have to say anyway. i guess you would consider me the 'bossy' one since i do most of the telling. but, that's only to help him out.

My sister is a year younger than me and we don't really get along. When we were little we dressed alike, shared friends, soccer team, girl scout troop, birthday parties. Then we went to different middle/high schools, my mom died, and we really grew apart. We pretty much share nothing in common now. Whenever we see each other, there is like this big ticking clock counting down until we are completely disgusted with one another and start fighting. It kinda sucks.

My sister is 3 years younger than me and we look VERY alike, and I love that.

We are very different though, she lives her life a completely different way then I do and sometimes all I can do is and wonder how she could make such stupid unhealthy choices.

We tell each other the truth about everything. I tell her when she is making the wrong turn but I also let her know that my opinions will never change how I feel about her, I love her to death.

I tell her all the time how much I love her, she is important to me and the only reason I get so upset is that she could be doing better for herself. But I always tell her "there is nothing you can do, no matter how shameful or awful, that will ever stop me from loving you"
