I always take my lap-top and Kindle Fire with me when I travel. However, I have never even removed my lap-top from its bag when I take it with me. I always say I may do some writing or do some work, but never ever do, which makes me glad, but I still always carry it with me.

Now I do use my Kindle Fire because I read every single night as I fall asleep, so I do the same when out of town.

Other than that, the only other electronics I bring with me are my phone and camera.
