I eat it, maybe, once a year. Hardly enough to make my cholesterol shoot through the roof.
Same here. I can't really afford to eat food like that often. I don't eat it enough to worry about my cholesterol.

To me, gay marriage is a civil rights issue plain and simple. It shouldn't get confused with talk of morality, religion or anything else. It's about equality and discrimination in my book - regardless of personal beliefs or philosophies.

Do all people deserve to have the same rights, regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation? A resounding YES. No one deserves to be treated as a second class citizen.

I know! The whole time I was reading his responses I was doing the 'Are You Serious Face' face!

Though I probably wasn't clear about the video. That video is pro gay, orated by a gay Christian and makes a compelling case that the belief that 'the Bible says it's wrong' is inherently wrong and flawed. Sorry for the mix-up. I'm not all that great at segues.

In your first post, you said you weren't debating, yet here you are, debating. I don't understand why people can't understand that there is a separation of church and state.

Your church does not belong in my state.

Why should it even matter to you what someone else is doing in their home? Is it infringing on your civil rights? Is it breaking the law? Are they running rampant through the streets?

Most homosexual couples are well-off, living a higher-standard of lifestyle than most heterosexual couples can manage.

Look around. You have gay neighbors. You have gay people in your church, because believe it or not, homosexual people CAN BE religious people. You might have gay friends that are too afraid to come out. You could potentially have gay children. Will your children not be allowed the same civil liberties as everyone else? Do you wish inequality on them? I highly doubt that.

I say YAY I am straight but to me love is love and I don't see why gays can't have the same marital rights as straight people
