I have a milky skin tone and it makes most gold look tacky/fake/weird on me. I have to stay with the ice queen look and only wear silver.

I like both almost equally, but I come from a family of gold smiths, so I'll always slightly prefer gold. Plus, I have tan/cappuccino colored skin with gold and pink undertones, so gold looks awesome while silver contrasts well.

I have very, very pale skin with a blue undertone. Gold makes me look like a vampire with bad fashion sense (not that people who wear gold are lacking in fashion sense, but it washes me out so severely that you'd think a centuries old vampire would know better than to put it on in the first place).
