I was wondering because I watch a lot of crime tv and it seems like it happens a lot. It's never happened to me though, just curious.

yup..when i was a server at bob evans. we had what we called 'creepy counter guys'. there was a counter with ball stools right by the server aisle. they were always the same old men everyday. one of them used to sneak and take pics of us, say nasty things to us, follow us in our cars and so forth. uckkkk

Not stalked, just harassed a few times before on FB, annoying and unnecessary messages from creepers I don't even know. But I just block and report them, problem solved.

Kind of. This wierd guy used to follow me around campus and text me to see what I was up to like all the time. I didn't think it was stalking but my friend did and thought I should freak out about it.

Yes, a guy I broke up with after only seeing for 2 months. He called me almost every night 4-6 times a night, at all hours of the night (sometimes 3am!) and he would leave creepy messages. This went on for 10 months. It was driving me crazy!!! Eventually, he walked up on me as I was leaving work one night and I snapped on him. That was the end of that, thank goodness!

I've been stalked both in real life and virtually. The virtual stalking was done by my 55 year old neighbour and actually creeped me out much more - I'd known him and his wife since I was three years old and when I found out that he'd used his wife's Facebook account to get pictures of me to save to his hard drive, I was pretty scarred for a while. There wasn't even anything risque on there, but knowing that he was getting off to me... Ugh. It happened almost five years ago and it's only in the last couple of months that I've begun to put pictures up again. He used to invite me over to his (isolated, far-from-where-people- could-hear-me-scream) little cabin to "wake him up" before work, and I get this awful feeling that he probably creeped over to our place a lot when I was younger. This whole thing brought to light the fact that he'd abused his daughter before she left home at 17, and it really broke my heart for her.

I've also had someone try to kidnap me, which - although it wasn't really prolonged stalking - was pretty terrifying up until I broke his nose and ran away.
