Have you ever changed doctors offices due to the office staff, even if you like the doctor?

Anyone else done this?

I have even used the phrase..."You don't think this is the only doctors office in town do you?".

I haven't had this issue. Yes, there is usually one person that isn't my favorite in the office but oh well. Lol

I sure have. My first prenatal appt. I was treated very poorly by the staff. I'm pretty sure it was because I was young and alone, but they acted like I was trying to rob them! I left pre-appt. and never went back.

Yes, I have. I went to a doctor where the staff was unfriendly and discussed private patient information in the open.

I'm used to the staff sucking most of the time, so I normally just deal with it unless it's extremely bad, in which case I'll complain.

I just recently switched from a doctor that I liked as far as her personality and I even liked the staff, but this doctor didn't do appointments (weird I know) which leads to lots of patients trying to all be seen in one day, but she will only see a certain of number per day. So often I have went to the office at 10am (they open at 9am) only to be turned away because the maximum number of patients that she will see for the day have already signed in before me. I dealt with this practice for the past 3 years while I was in college and didn't have much choice, but now that I'm working full time I quickly switched to a doctor that schedules appointments. Sorry this was so long lol.

I've only had to switch doctors because the doctor pissed me off. The staff is fine.
