Have you ever had surgery?

Contributor: BBW Talks Toys BBW Talks Toys
I've had:

2 Caesarian sections, 2nd included tubal ligation
1 laparoscopic tendon repair on my left wrist
1 laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder)
1 thermal ablation for endometriosis
2 of my wisdom teeth
1 set tubes placed in both my ears when I was 4

I had tubes in my ears as a small child, tonsils and adenoids out when I was a little bit older, and a benign cyst removed my upper thigh area as an adult. The cyst was a weird one, because they only did a local anesthetic and I was having a conversation with the doctor the whole time.

oh, and a mole removed and biopsied... clear, thankfully

This February was my fifteenth surgery ranging from head to toe. I'm getting really good at the whole recovery thing

2 endoscopy(once at 16 and one at 26) and this year I'm going for a gastric by-pass. I'm nervous and excited, ready for a big change and new chance at life.

Whoops, forgot the freckle they had to remove that turned out to be skin cancer. Ah the joys of red hair, the sun is not my friend. Not really surgery but they bill it as one.

Does a c-section count?

Two, if you count getting stitches. Other than that I had major orthognathic surgery when I was 18, and almost had a D&C in January of last year due to a missed miscarriage, (I ended up getting rid of it myself a few day before I was scheduled).

I had possible cancer cells removed from my cervix. I just had foot surgery last month for a condition called accessory navicular which involved shaving a bone growth off, reattaching a tendon and something to do with the achilles tendon. WORST pain I've had so far in my life. I've been unable to walk for almost 2 months and it's been SO boring and depressing. I get to start walking with a cast like thing on Wednesday and I'm so happy!

I've had a couple when I still lived in Canada, and had a few more since I've moved to China.

Let me just say... I'd much rather be in Canada having a surgery!!! Unless my people moved here that is.

I have had my wisdom teeth taken out...not sure if that is considered surgery. I know they call it oral surgery...but anywho...that is the only time I have gone under.

I've had many MANY exploratory surgeries and one on my stomach/intestines for ulcers, which was actually more of a cauterizing but they had to put me out for it, because of the pain of the procedure and all.

I had a broken arm that had to be set back into place but they had to actually cut me open for that one. Rollerblading accident when I was in middle school lol.

I also had my tonsils out when I was 17 and a major back surgery when I was 18 where I had a part of my spine fused when they removed a bulging disc, and had to repair a fracture in my lower spine related to the same surgery.

When I was 22 I had corrective eye surgery which was elective of course.

I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 16, otherwise, no (knock on wood!).

I had a kidney stone last year & that was way worse than the surgery--don't want to EVER go through that again!

10-12 surgeries, most were for endometriosis, though.

I've had a few oral surgeries, to remove my wisdom teeth and a few more adult teeth that weren't fitting. Don't know if removal of several baby teeth would also count, since they're supposed to come out anyway.

Also forgot about a core needle biopsy that was done just a few months before I became pregnant with our son. The local anesthetic they gave me was great (I didn't even feel the mammogram afterwards), but the bruising was gnarly enough to make me want to puke, not to mention that it didn't totally clear up for at least 5-6 months.
