i have very small feet, i never stub my toes and i'm barefoot as often as possible - i walk on gravel with minor discomfort - so stepping on a lego is kind of no big deal for me.
my man on the other hand, he has big feet, he's always stubbing his toes on stuff somehow, and any little thing (even just a small craft bead) causes him what appears to be great pain ... it certainly makes him mad anyways

Our little guy loves his Legos and he used to leave a huge mess of them all over until we really started getting on him about cleaning them up and putting them all back in his Lego trunk. We don't step on them too much anymore but wow when we did we knew it!
