Tax season is upon us! Now, this year the IRS won't be processing any refunds until the 30th of this month, but did you go ahead and file yours?

I got my electronic W-2 about two weeks ago and finally filed this morning even though it won't get processing until at least the 30th.

I did the same. I filed as soon as I had all my paperwork. Hopefully that puts me a little higher in line when the finally get around to processing them.

No, I haven't filed yet. I haven't gotten all of my paperwork yet. I have them started, though, and am to the point where I need the paperwork I haven't received yet.

Still waiting for some of the paperwork. Even though they are suppose to be sent by Jan. 31, I always have something that comes in the 3rd or 4th week of Feb.

You're kidding right? It isn't even April yet... No. I usually put them off till the last minute. I am actually still waiting on a W-2 right now though.

We always go to our guy the second Saturday in February. We are waiting on some forms still. Ever since they changed the rule if having to mail them by the end of January some forms take longer to get here.

That's how most of mine have come. This will be the first year that I've only had to wait on one W-2 and have had my taxes done before February.

See, last year while working at the store I work at, around the end of January, beginning of February I'd have guests come through my lanes and purchase like $500 worth of clothing and telling me that they already got their tax refund in. It ALWAYS amazed me that someone could work for a company that sent out W-2s that soon. I always assumed all companies put off sending the W-2s until the mailing cut-off date.

This year, I find myself as one of those people who is actually already done.
