I prefer earphones. When reclining, headphones can slide away. Earphones, depending on the make, stay in.

It depends on the type of earbud. Regular earbuds don't stay in well for me, I need the type that hook around your ear.

I like the portability of earbuds, but they are uncomfortable and often don't sound as good (although I think they've gotten better). I'd much rather get headphones.

Same here. I prefer over the ear because the sound fields are better designed for them.

I like around the ear headphones. tey don't hurt as much as earbuds, stay on and are quite comfortable.

I have sport ear buds (Sony) that stay on nicely. Nothing against headphones - but in my opinion they are not practical for athletic use.

I LOVE headphones... earbuds suck. Headphones are awesome because they cover your whole ear. I think they keep out sound much better that way, and make things more "surround sound" like.

I had the same problem until I bought behind the ear headphones. I can bob and sart my head all around without them falling or or getting caught.

Top down on the highway, I use sound isolating earbuds, that fit like earplugs to protect my hearing from the wind noise. One other benefit to them is that without external noise, I can keep the music volume lower than with other earbuds or headphones.

Earbuds hurt my ears after a few minutes of wearing them. Headphones are more comfortable and look cooler, especially Skull Candy headphones.

these are the ones I prefer too... they have like, little suction cup things in them so they stay in your ears... The regular ear buds are terribly annoying and always fall out of my ears
