What level of "home repair" skills exist in this wide ranging group?

I will do simple wiring, plumbing, and even sheet rock/painting. I will not do any major wiring and never go up on the roof. How about you?

If it is something that I can easily fix on my own I will do it but if not I will call maintenance where I live. They are good about getting to me as soon as I put in a complaint.

i consider myself to be a "handy man," and enjoy doing small fixes around the house (or my partners house) when i can! if it's a big deal i cant figure out how to do on my own then professional help would be nice, but i have yet to run into a job i couldnt finish.

I definitely try to fix it myself unless it's electrical. Fortunately if it's anything important that has to do with my apartment I can just harass my landlord until she sends someone over :p

I can fix most anything but I tend to stay away from wiring and let the pros take over. I can certainly fix things better than the previous owners of my home, sheesh.

I do a lot of assorted work, it's handy and saves a lot of money. For major work, I definitely go with contractors I know and trust
