So there was an article in my local paper today about the prevalence of homebrewing in my community. It's extremely popular in my hometown and I'm wondering if other Eden folks like to do it!

Do you like to brew your own beer? Is it popular where you are or are you a black sheep in your community - homebrewing-wise, that is?

I have beeen makeing my own wine for years now. Have tried making my own beer which was an epic failure!!

I'm fermenting a batch of ginger ale in the fridge right now. The yeast is used for carbonation, and only adds a tiny amount of alcohol. Does that count?

I don't do it...can't stand beer. However, it's pretty popular in my area.

My roommate and I make mead. We have two bottles of an apple mead he brewed before he moved in almost ready for drinking and we started a batch maybe a month ago flavored with black cherries, blueberries, and vanilla. Once we find a suitable container for that batch to mature in we are starting a pumpkin spice mead.

A friend of mine used to make his own beer using a kit he got but it was pretty gross. I've wanted to make my own wine for a while but I've never gotten around to it. I live in a small town and I think most people just buy all of their booze here, lol.
