Is there a job that you hated or one that you will never do?

I am often sensitive to food smells, so I couldn't handle working in any food related position.

I currently work in retail, and while I like to think I wouldn't go back to it once I can get an office job again, I'd do it if I had to.

Cashier, f that job i worked at walmart that in itself sucks but dealing with the customers oh man. Those people are crazy. One man told a co worker if she crushed his oreos he would kill her, i had an old man re bag every item i bagged. I am not allowed to out chemicals with food so i had to bag his 2 small cleaning supply items in one bag and everything i bagged he was like "seriously" and would pull it all out and re bag it and gave me a dirty look for puting two items in one bag, im like dude i have to. its just a crap job

I forgot about when I worked at a horrible daycare. A worker was letting children eat food from the floor. Needless to say, that was reported!

I worked at a dry cleaner. Between the heat, the chemicals, and the most disgusting clothes people brought it, I was horrified. Some examples: some woman left her soiled underwear in her pants, baby vomit all over a sheet (stuck my hand in it since the guy didn't tell me), used condoms left in pockets, etc.

I've had a few bad jobs, but telemarketer tops the list. I think I lasted 3 days before I walked out. I hated being pushy with people and wanted no part of it.
I made it through a full week as a telemarketer (which did totally suck), but only 3 days in a plastics factory. It was loud, toxic-smelling and hot; it tore up my hands, on my feet for 8 hours with only 20 minutes for lunch — and the work was mind-numbingly repetitious. Buh-bye.

Also did fast food for a couple of months in high school. Also pretty horrible, mainly because of the managers.

It looks like many of us have been telemarketers, lol.

I thought I would love being a preschool teacher, but it's passable. It's not the kids, it's all the requirements we are forced to put on the little kids. Our school took out art activities in our preschool, and they are wanting us to teach heavy science, math, and literacy to 3-5 year olds.

Worst job ever for me was a temp gig making paintbrushes in a paintbrush factory.

Mind. Numbing.

And the stupid machine broke every 15 minutes or so!

I hate being a waitress, but it is the only job I can do right now as a full-time student.

I volunteered at a daycare center once and it was ridiculously stressful. Before the business closed, I just stopped showing up because it was so difficult and I just never wanted to go. I would probably never do something mundane like flipping burgers, something dirty like sewage work, or something dangerous like a cop.
