How late can your package be before you start to get worried?

I input the tracking codes of any shipment I'm expecting into my iPhone and get regular updates on their locations. If it's at all late, I'm aware of it and it usually bothers me.

I order a lot, so I'm pretty good at waiting, but if I order something from a new website, or it's something I really, really, want, then I get a little impatient if it's over a week late.

most packages sent to me have a tracking number with them, so I know just about where they are at any given minute.

If it's about 3 days late then I will call the sender/post office/FedEx/etc. and ask them if it has gotten lost or whatever. There has only been two times when my package has gotten lost and once it was a package from a book store with my much needed college textbooks (that I, of course, purchased very late) and the other time it was a package from another sex toy (thank God I turned to EF!). The sex toy package actually ended up at someone else's home and they called UPS reporting a prank. The woman had a last name like... 2 letters different from mine and for whatever reason it got sent to her. I still don't know how that happens, especially when the woman lives in another state, but oh well. The package with the books just basically got forgotten in the delivery truck for days.

If it's 2 days late I start to wonder. 5 days late and I really start checking tracking numbers and the like. There have been times that things have taken an extra week or two and I didn't notice right away.

It usually depends. If there's tracking information, like with Eden, I'll get worried if it's not in my mail box within a day or two or when it says it is. But my mail is really slow, so I don't get worried until it's about a week late.
