I've always been a very good swimmer. That said, I was an avid surfer, scuba diver, as well as a free diver. I loved diving for abalone along the Northern California coast. The waters are cold and treacherous at times. It was always easy to get tangled at the bottom from kelp. So, it required you to be a confident swimmer who was calm and relaxed under pressure.

I LOVE to swim. I've been a lifeguard, and I used to surf. We belong to the only gym in our area with a pool. If it ever closes, I think we'll have to move.

I'm a great swimmer. I was on the school swim team for 4 years and grew up around lakes. I'm out of shape now but I still have perfect stroke form.

Pretty good swimmer. I was a lifeguard in college and taught swimming and scuba diving after college.

I grew up on the beach and a pool in my backyard. I learned to swim at a very young age. I was a fish when I was a kid.

I love swimming & swim like a fish! Only 2 problems now, one is the tubes through my eardrums, so I can't get water in my ears at all, can't even risk it wearing earplugs, (I did try, BAD idea, but, I just missed swimming so much). The other is my severe allergy to chlorine, most likely acquired through years of swimming in pools.

I took and completed swimming lessons, on multiple levels as a kid. I can swim very well. However, I don't really ever go swimming. I live in the city & refuse to use public pools.

I'm a decent swimmer. I love to float around. My husband can swim, but he's terrible at treading water.

I can stay in water without drowning, but I am a pretty bad swimmer.
